Police are hunting a man over a serious sexual assault in a communal lift, with the suspect being created by e-fit

A police hunt is underway to find a man in connection with a serious sex offense which took place in Lambeth. The incident happened in 2017 in a communal elevator in an apartment building.

The woman found the courage to report the incident to police near the end of 2023 and is being supported by specially trained officers as police appeal to locate the man they want to speak to in connection with the incident. Detectives created an e-fit image of the man based on detailed descriptions.



Detective Constable Beth Cuttell-Bladen, from the policing team covering Lambeth, said: “Despite the time that has passed since the incident, the woman was able to give us a detailed description of the man who attacked her in 2017. . I would ask people to look at e-fit and see if they recognize this person – please contact us if you can help.

“However much has passed since an incident like this, we will listen and support anyone who comes to us for help and investigate where we can.”
