How a local franchisee cleaned up at a Molly Maid convention

Rhonda Millsap, who took over the Barrie-area franchise in 2011, was recognized with the company’s Leadership Excellence Award

A Barrie business owner received a “special award” following Molly Maid’s recent bi-annual convention.

Rhonda Millsap, who took over the local franchise for the Barrie area in 2011, was recognized with the company’s Excellence in Leadership Award.

The honor is in recognition of a franchise partner who has demonstrated outstanding leadership.

“Rhonda Millsap is truly a model franchise partner who operates at the highest possible level of service to their customers and within the community,” the company said in a press release. “Molly Maid is pleased to recognize Rhonda and thank her for her extraordinary efforts and dedication to her team and clients.”

The first house cleaned by Molly Maid was in Mississauga, by founders Adrienne and Chris Stringer, in 1979.

Since then, the company has expanded to Canada, as well as the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Portugal. Each year, Molly Maid says its franchisees perform more than two million home cleanings.
