Man charged after 18-year-old stabbed on Ealing bus in afternoon horror attack

A man has been charged with stabbing an 18-year-old on a bus in Ealing in a mid-afternoon horror attack.

An 18-year-old instigator allegedly stabbed the male victim at around 4.15pm on Tuesday on a bus on Mandeville Road, near Northolt station in south-west London.

The man who was stabbed was treated at the hospital and his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.

Jayden Patterson, of Ayles Road, Hayes, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent to do grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 15-year-old boy has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Patterson appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday and will next appear in custody at Isleworth Crown Court on July 19.
