The amazing BS3 Live from Ashton Gate in 22 pictures

Thousands of people gathered at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol for the first summer concert of its kind called BS3 Live. Headlined by American R&B star Ne-Yo, the crowds were entertained by household names such as Craig David, Jess Glynne and Dizzee Rascal.

Ashton Gate Stadium has seen some star acts since concerts returned to the refurbished venue in 2019, including Take That, Spice Girls, The Killers, Muse and Elton John, but this was the first event hosted by the stadium itself.

And they’ve assembled a stellar cast list of garage, hip-hop, rap, pop and R&B stars from the past 20 years, as well as some local names like drum and bass legend Roni Size and Fishponds singer Krush.

The spectacle was blessed by warm sunshine throughout the day and thousands flocked to the pitch and filled the fan village around the stadium. There were a total of ten acts with a two-stage system, meaning there was never a break in the music.
