Jamie Vardy has been spotted at an Italian club amid Leicester City transfer speculation

Could the 37-year-old be on the move?

Jamie Vardy was spotted in Italy as he watched Como secure promotion to Serie A.

Vardy scored twenty goals for Leicester City this season as the Foxes returned to the Premier League as Championship title winners.

The breach of contract at the King Power Stadium this summer, however, has seen speculation gather over whether Vardy could now seek a move away from England.

Como currently employ former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas as assistant coach and finished second in Serie B this season.

Thierry Henry is also involved as an interested party at the club and Vardy’s presence will increase speculation about his next move.

The former Fleetwood man has enjoyed plenty of ups and downs during his time with City but admits he has no intention of hanging up his boots just yet.

“I’m not ready to hang up the boots yet, the legs feel good,” he said earlier this year.

“I feel as fit as ever, so we’ll see what happens.”

Leicester boss Enzo Maresca shared the same sentiment and suggested a new contract could soon be on the way for the experienced striker, despite rumored interest from League One side Wrexham.

“It’s the whole season when you ask about Jamie! Jamie Vardy is Leicester. Jamie Vardy, I haven’t discovered him. Jamie Vardy will always score goals in his life,” said Maresca.

“He will score goals until he is 45 because scoring goals is in his blood. We are very lucky that he is our player. He scored many goals.

“Not yet (we haven’t discussed the contract) because the target was to finish properly.

“We have a game on Saturday and then we sit down, but my feeling is he will stay.

“That’s just my feeling, but if I had to decide…”
