Details of BBC Glastonbury 2024 coverage, including 24-hour TV channel | Liverpool Echo

If you didn’t manage to get Glastonbury tickets, don’t worry – you can still enjoy the festival from the comfort of your own living room. The much-loved event returns to Worthy Farm in Somerset later this month.

The line-up boasts big names such as Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Shania Twain, among others. The BBC will be providing official coverage of the festival, ensuring music lovers are treated to Sunday 30 June.




You’ll be able to access BBC coverage on iPlayer, BBC Sounds, TV, radio and online, including the 24/7 Classic Glastonbury channel. This channel will feature non-stop highlights from some of Glastonbury’s most memorable shows, including Elton John’s final performance last year.

From midday on Friday (June 28) until Sunday evening, the BBC will also broadcast a special Glastonbury channel on iPlayer, offering a constant stream of live events, interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. This year, the BBC presented Glastonbury Channel II, a festival-specific edition featuring the most popular acts of the day.

The broadcaster will also provide the usual live streams from the five main stages – Pyramid Stage, Other Stage, Park Stage, West Holts and Woodsies. In addition, shows on the Pyramid Stage will be broadcast in British Sign Language throughout the weekend, reports Wales Online.

Ahead of the festival itself, The One Show will take place over Glastonbury weekend on BBC One on Friday 28 June at 7pm. They will host a special show exploring Glastonbury’s storied past and will also feature live links to this year’s 2024 event.

After a full weekend of shows across the BBC’s television channels, BBC Two will bring the festivities to a close with a momentous show that captures the essence of Glastonbury 2024.
