Live: Girl, 13, missing as family desperately searches

The family of a 13-year-old girl from Cornwall have appealed for help after she went missing from her home on Saturday. Libby Cleave was last seen in Scorrier just after 1pm on June 22nd.

The police have been notified and are assisting in the search. Meanwhile, her mother posted an appeal on Facebook and asked CornwallLive to share the information.




Posting on Facebook, Samantha Austin-Cleave wrote: “Please read and please share. She was last seen in Scorrier wearing a black hoodie with a color house and chameleon on the back, black sweatpants, white and orange Nike Airforces with gray socks.


“Please if anyone has seen her or knows where she is please message either myself or Benjamin Austin-Cleave or contact the police. We just want her home safely. Again, please everyone share.”

She posted two photos of her daughter to help with the appeal. Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed they are assisting in the search.
