He moved to Saints and made his Premier Division debut at the age of 15, quickly becoming an established member of their first team squad. Curtis has also come through the ranks at international level to become Ireland’s first-choice U-21 defender.

At various times he attracted interest from top clubs in England and Europe, but after letting his Pat’s contract run out, he opted to join Sheffield United with the hope of becoming a first-team player in a short time of time. Curtis has been around Chris Wilder’s side since his move and their guaranteed relegation has allowed for experimentation as the club prepares for a return to the Championship.
