Beeston Festival 2024 in photos

The sun shone and crowds descended in their thousands on Cross Flatts Park to enjoy the Beeston Festival yesterday (June 22, 2024).

Partygoers commented on the fantastic atmosphere and range of activities and entertainment on offer. The festival was opened by the Mayor of Leeds, Cllr Abigail Marshall Katung and

On the main stage, Maz Bonafide stole the show with his bhangra raps. There was plenty to enjoy with sports, children’s activities, the fun fair and dozens of bazaar stalls. A diverse range of local groups performed dance routines in the Arena along with freestyle skateboarding performances. Musicians from around the world performed on the Emerge stage to entertain diners in the Food Court.

A festival goer commented:

“What a wonderful and fantastic day at Beeston Festival, thank you. Many families I know enjoyed this day. The day was full of fun and enjoyed by so many.”
