West Yorkshire Police launched an appeal via its community alert page in relation to a suspected burglary and burglary at a house in Little Lane, Ilkley.

The victim realized her Nissan Navara car keys were missing on Tuesday but thought she had misplaced them so did not report it to police.

It is believed that an unknown suspect or suspects entered the man’s property through an unlocked door on Tuesday and took his car keys.

The suspect or suspects then returned “days later to take the car.”
