The Met Office has said exactly when the 27 degree heat will hit Coventry as temperatures are set to soar. Unlike last week, this week will be warm and sunny from tomorrow (June 25).

According to the latest Met Office report, temperatures are set to reach 27C. As well as UV levels being high, so are pollen counts set to be very high over the next 72 hours.

It’s shaping up to be a warm week, but the mercury could start to drop a bit heading into the weekend. Temperatures could drop to around 20C on Friday, but the sun will remain.

The latest local forecast is as follows:

Today

Any low cloud and early morning mist will lift easily to leave a fine day with variable cloud and some very warm spells of sunshine. Pollen levels will be very high with high UV levels. Maximum temperature 26C.

This evening

It will be a warm and dry evening with some late sunshine. Clear spells are likely overnight, although some low cloud and mist is likely to reform later. Minimum temperature 14C.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be another mostly fine day across the region with light winds and further spells of very warm sunshine developing after a gray and hazy start in places. Maximum temperature 27C.

Outlook Wednesday through Friday

Wednesday should continue to be mostly dry with very warm sunshine. A small chance of a shower. Rain is likely to move out of the west later Thursday, ushering in brighter, fresher weather for Friday.
