Rush hour crash on the A38M as the main city center route is blocked near Spaghetti Junction

A major city center route is blocked this morning following an accident. The A38M Aston Motorway from Birmingham northbound near Spaghetti Junction is partially closed during rush hour on Monday.

Traffic backed up on the A38M following the accident. Bus services are diverted from the site.




National Express West Midlands wrote on X this morning: “Service disruption due to collision on A38M. The X12 and X13 will use Heartlands Parkway.

“We apologize for any disruption to your journey.” The latest update on traffic website Inrix says: “A38(M) Aston Expressway northbound partially blocked.


“Traffic slow due to accident between A38 Corporation Street (Dartmouth Circus) and M6, J6, (Spaghetti Junction).”

A38M Aston Expressway blocked

Birmingham’s northbound A38M Aston Motorway near Spaghetti Junction is partially closed this morning in the middle of rush hour.

The main route in the city center has been blocked following an accident.
