Huddersfield street closed by police after ‘incident’ involving two cars

Police have sealed off a residential street in Huddersfield following an ‘incident’ involving two cars.

The incident happened in the Royds Avenue area at around 5pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 24). Residents in Paddock say their street has been cordoned off by police while investigations are underway.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police were called to the Royds Avenue area of ​​Huddersfield yesterday following reports of an incident involving the occupants of two cars. Investigations are underway to establish exactly what happened and a scene is in place. No one is believed. to have been injured at this stage.

“The report was received yesterday evening at 5pm from colleagues in the ambulance service who were in the area in relation to a separate matter.”
