London woman found dead charged with second-degree murder

A London man has been charged with second-degree murder after a woman was found dead Saturday morning.

George Kenneth Curtis, 44, has been charged and remains in custody pending a court appearance on Tuesday.

At around 12pm on Saturday, police responded to Wharncliffe Road North and Western Road for a medical emergency.

The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Cheryl Lynn Sheldon, and police said the two people were known to each other.
