The Bantams will face Mansfield Town and Rotherham United in Group H North of this season’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

The full draw for next season’s competition will be completed live on Sky Sports News on Thursday (June 27) – from 2.30pm.

During which City’s squad will be completed with the addition of one of the ‘invited’ teams from the Premier League Under-21 or Category One Academy.

All 64 teams will enter the first round and will be divided into 16 regional groups of four teams – eight in the North region and eight in the South region.

The 16 invited under-21 teams will be placed in their northern and southern regional groups, with the 48 EFL clubs placed in predetermined groups prior to the draw.

Consideration has been given to ensure that travel time is minimized and recovery time is maximized for players.

The Bristol Street Motors Trophy group stage fixtures will begin in early September, with dates to be confirmed after the EFL Fixtures Launch Day on Wednesday (June 26).
