Cyndi Lauper is coming to Manchester on her farewell tour

Icon of the 80s and originator of the infamous “Come on girls” line, Cyndi Lauperannounced UK and EU dates for her”The girls just want to have fun Farewell Tour‘, with a stop in Manchester to say goodbye. The colossal tour will head to Europe in February, marking Lauper’s first major run in a decade, with shows in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Birmingham and Belfast, before continuing on to Budapest, Lodz, Prague, Berlin, Dusseldorf and Paris.

Known for astronomical hits including Occasionally, True colorsand of course, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Cyndi Lauper has had an incredible career, and the 76-year-old is still going strong. Going all out, the ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ tour will see Cyndi belt out some of her biggest hits, no doubt making Manchester’s 23,500 capacity Co-op Live continue. Sunday February 92025.

Throughout the tour, Lauper will be joined by special guests to be revealed at a later date. The announcement follows news of the North American Farewell Tour announced earlier this month and follows the release of LET THE CANARY SINGa feature-length documentary exploring Lauper’s extraordinary life and career.
