A man dies after being electrocuted

NEW ALBANY, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been pronounced dead after officials say he was electrocuted in Bradford County.

The Bradford County Coroner’s Office says on June 22nd they were called to a home on Leesway Lane in New Albany to assist with a death investigation.

The victim, Eli Guerra, 32, of Maryland, was helping friends/family with roof repairs when he came into contact with a low overhead power line.

Guerra was pronounced dead at 4:45 p.m., and the cause was determined to be electrocution.
