Very good transfers expected at Leicester City and former Fox impressed by Cooper

A former Leicester City striker has been impressed by new Foxes boss Steve Cooper during his time at Nottingham Forest. The retired professional believes the Welshman will have LCFC playing attractive and energetic football. Fortunately. Meanwhile, Dion Dublin are also expecting some quality signings at the King Power Stadium.

FoL covers opinion news amid a claim that a high-profile East Midlands defender is being linked with a move to a giant European club. Let’s not waste time and get down to business.

Faes is currently playing in the illustrious and entertaining international tournament Euro 2024. He represents his nation, Belgium. The Belgians lost rather alarmingly 1-0 to Slovakia in their group opener.

The Red Devils made up for that defeat with a 2-0 win over Romania in their next meeting. Their last game in this round is against Ukraine on Wednesday night. Fox featured for the other one Red Devils in the first and second matches.

Faes is a pretty rated centre-back to be honest. His style tends to polarize some fans: sometimes he feels too casual. However, he is at the Euros despite playing in the Championship for the past year and having been relegated from the Premier League in the previous campaign. That shows his standing in football circles, especially since his country is full of talented and elite players.

However, Barcelona’s alleged interest will raise a few eyebrows. Although, people always tend to forget that even outfits like Barca must have a capable stock of reserve players and understudies on their rosters. Maybe it doesn’t start.

Either way, Faes is meant to be on the Catalans’ wish list. As you can imagine, after losing talented boss Enzo Maresca, the Foxes will not want to lose another of their best. Regardless of my opinion, these are the factors that are said to have attracted the Blaugrana: reading the game, force in duels and initiating moves from deep in defence. I’d have to agree with that assessment of the 26-year-old.

Dublin, a one-time Fox, is certainly a supporter of Cooper’s managerial quality. The former striker is unsure whether the 44-year-old will keep Leicester in the English top flight. But importantly for LCFC, he is eyeing some decent signings at the King Power:

“They will have to buy some players. I think they will be in the market for some very good players, Leicester, and they will prepare very well.”
