An air ambulance was flown to the scene of a bus and car crash in Bulkington. As well as the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) also sent an ambulance to the scene on Nuneaton Road, close to the Peugeot garage.

This was followed by reports of a collision between a bus and a car. The driver of the car, who has not been identified but is a woman in her 30s, was injured.

A WMAS spokesman explained: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Nuneaton Road in Bulkington, Bedworth, just after 6.30pm yesterday. An ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered that there had been a collision involving a bus and a car.
