Urgent appeal to find missing 12-year-old boy as people asked to call 999 if they see him

An urgent appeal was launched this morning to find a missing 12-year-old boy from Vauxhall. Young Miley McGinley has not been seen since 6.30pm in the early hours of Monday evening (June 24) and a 999 call has now been launched to find her.

In an appeal posted at 3.41am this morning (Tuesday, June 25), Merseyside Police said they were looking for the lad, who speaks with an Irish accent and is 5ft 5in tall. He was last seen last night near his home on Blackstone Street.




Officers report that they have carried out extensive searches to find him since then and are now appealing for anyone who may have seen Miley to contact police. They add that he is white, 5ft 5in tall, with short thick, dark brown hair and hazel eyes and speaks with an Irish accent.

Miley is believed to be wearing either a white sleeveless top with black shorts and black trainers, or blue denim jeans and a dark blue polo shirt with a small red Hugo Boss square tag on the top right. He is known to visit St Helens Cemetery and Crematorium, Tara Park on Liverpool’s Oil Street and Liverpool city centre.
