Liverpool transfer news is in full flow now with the window open for 10 days. Business hasn’t exploded in life yet, but rumors sure have, and we’re here to bring you all the news and gossip of the day as it happens.

Upcoming business has a way of grabbing headlines, and Arda Guler is one of the names doing the rounds right now. The Real Madrid star has reminded the world of his talent at Euro 2024 after a season of limited minutes at the Bernabeu, and Liverpool are said to be interested in bringing him to Anfield.

Meanwhile, Nico Williams’ name isn’t going anywhere just yet. He dominated as a rotating Spain side beat Albania 1-0, but he also shone at the tournament and the Reds are among the clubs said to be interested in the Athletic Club star.

But there is still work to be done for Arne Slot and the team on the exit front. Nat Phillips could be set to finally secure a permanent move with Liverpool setting their asking price amid significant interest in his services.

There are decisions to be made on a number of other returning loanees and Sepp van Den Berg’s desire to leave for good has been reiterated. Stay with us today Liverpool.com for all the latest transfer news…

Nat Phillips Price Set

Liverpool have put a price of around $10m (£8m/€9m) on Nat Phillips’ head, according to the Daily Mail. The defender is yet to secure a permanent move away from Anfield, with the 27-year-old having been sent out on a string of loan spells since his ill-fated 2020/21 breakthrough.

Phillips has been repeatedly kept out at Anfield to stave off injury fears. When he left, he was on temporary contracts, with Bournemouth, Celtic and later Cardiff.

However, this latest move has been a success and Liverpool are not expected to be short of suitors for Phillips. Cardiff want him back, other Championship clubs are keen and Mainz are also interested. Meanwhile, newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich are a potential destination.

Guler “contact” was made

Liverpool have made contact to sign Real Madrid star Arda Guler, according to Spanish publication Marca. The story is included in the print edition and is transmitted via Paisley Gates.

Interest in Guler had previously been reported by Estadio Deportivo. However, Real Soceidad are also understood to admire the 19-year-old, and would be open to a loan deal.

Real Madrid, for their part, are not expected to let Guler leave permanently. Whether they prefer a loan move for the teenager, who struggled for minutes at the Bernabeu last season, remains to be seen where that leaves Liverpool’s apparent pursuit.
