Barnet Council’s community discard service has announced new dates for Barnet residents to dispose of up to three large unwanted household items.

Community Skips are available at various locations around the neighborhood on a rolling schedule.

Those wishing to remove items can bring three items to Community Skip every three months.

Guidelines for using the Community Skip service.

Skips are available between 07:00 and 13:00 on the day mentioned.

Those wishing to use the service must prove they live in Barnet by bringing a Council Tax or utility bill.

Users are advised that they will not be able to park close to the skip, so they should be prepared to bring help with large and heavy items.

On arrival, users must queue on foot with items before presenting proof of address to a member of Barnet staff.
