Picture clue after a 62-year-old man hit in the face in Loughborough

A man was punched in the face and kicked while on the ground in an attack in Loughborough. Police have released an image in an attempt to trace a man in connection with the incident.

The assault took place in Loughborough’s Cricket Lane on Saturday, May 25, when the victim raised concerns about a motorbike in the area. The victim, a 62-year-old man, was then punched in the face and kicked as he lay on the ground.

A family member intervened when the suspect left the scene. Inquiries into the assault are ongoing, with police releasing an image of a man they want to trace.

Police said the man may have information about the incident. Police say the man is believed to be riding a green dirt bike with the number 2 on the front and side.
