The new Megabus service connects Plymouth to London via Somerset

Coach operator Value Megabus is introducing a new route linking Plymouth, Bristol and London. The service, scheduled to start on June 27, will operate from Thursday to Monday every week, providing an affordable travel option between the three cities.

The route will include stops at Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Bristol Airport, Bristol and London. Tickets for the service, with fares starting from £9.99, are currently available on the Megabus website.




The coach will depart Plymouth at 7am, arrive in London at 1pm and depart London at 3.30pm, arriving back in Plymouth at 9.30pm. Simone Walsh, Managing Director of Megabus, expressed her delight at the addition of this route to their network, highlighting the direct link between these key cities and Bristol Airport.

She said: “We are so excited to add this route to our network – it offers a direct link between these key cities from Thursday to Monday each week, as well as links to Bristol Airport.

“It’s great timing as we’re in the summer and this is another fantastic chance for customers to use our great value services to enjoy the many wonderful towns and cities across the country while saving money on the journey they to spend them when they get there.”

Since its launch in the UK in 2003, Megabus has offered great fares across the country, connecting over 100 locations and serving millions of customers annually with its modern fleet of coaches.
