The driver was approached by the pair in Bromley Street, Hanging Heaton, on March 25 this year. Qureshi was carrying a knife. He took the parcel and started towards Commonside.

The robbery sparked a huge response from the public who sent CCTV to West Yorkshire Police to help them catch the culprits. Today, the force said the sentencing of the two sent a strong message that no one should “fear violence just for doing their job”.
