Coventry City Championship fixtures for 2024/25 in full

Coventry City will start the new Championship season away to Stoke, where they have won three of their last four visits unbeaten in the league. This will be the lunchtime start (12.30pm) on Saturday 10th August.

The Sky Blues’ first home game of the campaign comes a week later, with a traditional 3pm kick-off against newly promoted Oxford United at the CBS Arena, before trips to Bristol City and a home clash with one of the promotion, Norwich City, completing the opening month of the season.




Fans have to wait until November and early December for their first taste of what counts as a local derby these days when they entertain Derby County (Wednesday 6 November) and travel to West Brom (11 December).

And one of the most anticipated games of the schedule comes on November 9 when the Sky Blue Army travel to bitter rivals Sunderland, with the return leg only on March 15.

Christmas has been kind to City this time, with Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth at home on Boxing Day, followed by Millwall on CBS a few days later on December 29, although there is a sting in the festive schedule with a New Year’s Day. trip to Cardiff.

Easter, similarly, is a mixed bag with West Brom at home on Good Friday before a long Bank Holiday Monday trip to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle. Those games come before the final two, with a tough game at Luton in the penultimate game of the season and Middlesbrough at home on the final day.
