Bus passengers and driver forced to abandon vehicle in Nuneaton after vandal attack

Passengers and a driver were forced to flee a bus after a vandalism attack in Nuneaton. It happened on the 148 bus between Nuneaton and Coventry last night.

Stagecoach Midlands said it was a “rare” incident and no one was injured in the incident, which happened just before 7.30pm. But passengers and the driver were forced off the bus close to Griff Island.




They had to wait for a replacement to arrive so they could continue their journey. Explaining what happened, a spokesman for Stagecoach Midlands said: “An object was thrown into the window of a bus.

“The driver checked the passengers and transferred them to another vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured and such incidents are incredibly rare.”
