OZZY OSBOURNE is planning two farewell shows in Birmingham

Ozzy OsbourneHis health in recent years has unfortunately stopped him from playing any shows, despite his obvious desire to get back in front of a crowd. OsbourneHis most recent cancellation was 2023’s Power Trip festival, when he admitted he just wasn’t ready, later stating he hoped to return to the stage in the summer of 2024.

Although nothing has been publicly announced, Sharon Osbourne revealed on her Cut The Crap Tour (via The mirror) that two farewell shows are planned Ozzy: “He won’t be touring anymore, but we plan to do two more shows to say goodbye because he feels like, ‘I’ve never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly.’

Sharon then revealed that the two shows could very well take place at Aston Villa’s Villa Park stadium in Aston, Birmingham, adding “We’ll do it in Aston Villa, where Ozzy It is from.”

“His voice is still absolutely perfect,” she continued. “And the whole time he’s been away, he’s still doing his singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yes. He has all these songs in his head. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t help it. that Ozzyhe just attracts you.”

Whenever these happen, wherever they happen, it will be a very sad day in the world of rock and metal. Sure, Black Sabbath gave it up a few years ago, but seeing Ozzy Osbourne leaving the stage for the last time will be downright depressing.

Osbourne fell at home in 2019, which dislocated rods in his neck after a quad bike accident in 2003. He previously noted that his last neck surgery to correct the injury was his last, mostly because he can’t stand going under the knife . more. His ailments also cost him a European Tour in 2023, which was not surprising given his bleak outlook for the situation at the end of 2022.

The good news is that at least we’re getting (at least) one more Ozzy record. In a recent interview with Knocker, Osbourne said he was planning a third record for this year. “I’m getting in shape,” he said. “I’ve done two albums quite recently (both produced by Andrew Watt), but I want to do one more album and then get back on the road.” Osbourne later added that he hopes to work with again Watt at his home studio in the UK.
