A man suffers ‘life-changing injuries’ after being attacked twice in two hours

A man has been left with “life-changing injuries” after being attacked twice in two hours in Warwickshire. Police say the victim is being treated at the hospital.

It comes after he was attacked in Tachbrook Road, Leamington, at around 4pm yesterday (June 26). Less than two hours later, he was said to have been assaulted again, this time on Brunswick Street.



Two suspects, men aged 40 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). They remain in custody this morning (June 27) where they were due to be questioned.

Meanwhile, police have issued an appeal for anyone who was in either area between 4pm and 6pm yesterday to come forward.

“Anyone who saw the incidents or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to call 101 or visit online quoting crime reference number 23/26763/24,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman said . Information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
