Do you know a school staff hero?

Know someone who works at one of the neighborhood schools and is a bit of a hero? Ealing Council believes that its schools are made special by the people who work there; and deserves well-deserved recognition. That’s why later this year we’re running a campaign to celebrate the incredible people who work in our schools – but we need your help.

The neighborhood’s schools have been recognized as some of the best in the country. We know this is due to the hard work of our principals, teachers, school support staff, caretakers, business managers, reception staff, school crossing patrols; every person who works tirelessly to support our children and young people.

Tell us who is your Ealing school hero?

We want to celebrate the unsung heroes in our schools – know someone in your local school who deserves some recognition? Is there a special teacher, nurse or support staff member who has really made a difference in your child’s life? Do you know someone who works hard behind the scenes to make sure school life is great? Did a director or deputy make a big impact? Who goes above and beyond in your elementary or middle school?

We don’t just want to hear about the big achievements, we also want to hear about the little things that make a big difference – does this person brighten your day? Have they supported you as a parent through a difficult time or encouraged your child or young person when they are struggling or doubting themselves?

We want to hear from you – let us know who your Ealing school hero is by emailing [email protected], tell us why you think they deserve recognition and how they’re making a difference. The school staff you suggest could be featured in a special issue of Around Ealing magazine and part of a campaign celebrating the borough’s schools later this year.
