The first official image of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

Over the past few months we’ve been talking a lot about one of Royal Enfield’s much-anticipated new products, the Guerrilla 450, spotted during road tests in India (here are the photos). It is a motorcycle that is born on the new platform with a steel frame and a 450 cmc single-cylinder engine with double overhead cam distribution capable of 40 HP maximum power and 40 Nm torque on which the Himalaya made its debut. Click here to find out all its technical features.

A significantly more mature technical base than the previous one, which, as we expected, would give rise to new models.

The first to arrive, as we hypothesized, is the Guerrilla 450. The confirmation comes from Sid Lal, Managing Director of Royal Enfield, who with a post on social media announced the arrival of the Guerrilla 450 in the market with the official launch . next July 17.

It’s a street scrambler with slightly gnarly wheels and a look reminiscent of bikes of this type from the 80s, so round headlight, dust bellows on the fork, smooth-lined tank, tall and wide handlebars and generous suspension travel.

Just in the last few days we showed you the images, which you can review below, of the sketches created by Indian designer Pratyush Rout, who based on the spy images captured in the last few months depicted the Guerrilla 450 based on what it could have been. .
