Glastonbury fans are in awe of Sugababes and say ‘never seen’ before

The Sugababes had a huge hit when they played Glastonbury on Friday – but they could have done with a bigger stage. The 90s girl band attracted huge crowds as fans and viewers at home were stunned by the size of the crowd at the West Holts stage and said they had “never seen” anything like it before.

Security closed the route to the stage due to overcrowding and fans were stuck in the toilets, just desperate for a chance to hear Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan’s set. The set was hit after hit, including popular songs like Push the Button and Round Round.

Fans were stunned by the size of the crowds watching the show and took to X to comment. @iamliameh said: “Absolutely crazy crowd at Sugababes. Never seen anything like this at West Holts #glastonbury”.

He was there in 2022 when they shut down Avalon and the same thing happened today. I’m not sure I’ll see a better show this weekend. Pyramid stage for sure next… #sugababes # Glastonbury.”

Simon Underwood said: “The #Sugababes are having a blast in West Holts right now – those voices *together*. More than that, there are smiles frequently exchanged between them, but also with the band. Happy joy #Glastonbury.”
