The new school in the Rumworth area of ​​Bolton would be independently run and accommodate 200 pupils, plans have confirmed. In south Manchester, there are plans to expand the Stock Exchange next to the station to provide more office space for what is a more sought-after business hub.

Plans for a new discount grocer Lidl have been proposed as part of a scheme at 111 Wellington Road North in Heaton Norris which could have up to 98 parking spaces around the site.

The store will include a sales area, warehouse delivery area, cold room, bakery, manager’s office, staff protection facilities and customer toilets.

Plans shared for next phase of transformation around Stockport station

A planning application has been submitted for the next phase of work to transform the area around Stockport Station.

Known as Stockport Exchange, the area has become a hub for business, with several plans to expand and improve the site. The next part of the work could see new office and residential spaces created, spread across up to 33,000 square metres.

The plan could see up to 100 apartments built in the area.
