Leicester City reject Chelsea’s initial bid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

The Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall situation went from zero to one hundred in just 24 hours, but that momentum has been slowed a bit this evening with reports that Leicester City have rejected our initial offer.

Personal terms do not appear to be any sort of obstacle, with the 25-year-old ready to move to Stamford Bridge to reunite with head coach Enzo Maresca, but the two sides are yet to agree a fee, although there are no other . the team pictured (Brighton were told by the player to leave, apparently).

However, no one is saying how much that initial offer from Chelsea was, nor how much Leicester might be looking for. Exit rumors last year pegged the valuation at £30m, but that was before a terrific season in the Championship, both individually and collectively. We don’t know if Chelsea’s initial offer was in that range or not (more or less). And there is always the possibility of a partial course exchange (Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana and Cesare Casadei had been mentioned).

Dewsbury-Hall has been at Leicester since the age of 8 so is said to be good enough to stay. So, unless he completely turns his head, we will have to find a deal that is acceptable to the club as well.
