Man taken to hospital with head injuries after assault in Epsom

A man has been taken to hospital after an attack in Epsom.

Officers were called to reports of an altercation between two men in High Street, Epsom, at 11.15pm on May 10.

The man was found with head injuries and taken to hospital for medical treatment.

An investigation has now been launched and police are appealing for witnesses.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for witnesses following an attack in Epsom last night (Friday, May 10).

“Officers were called to High Street in Epsom, between the junctions of Waterloo Road and Church Street, at around 11.15pm after receiving reports of an altercation between two men.

“A man was taken to hospital with head injuries.
