Alexis Mac Allister’s Sheff Utd strike has been voted LFC Goal of the Month

The midfielder scored the Reds’ second in the 3-1 Premier League win at Anfield with a powerful strike from the edge of the box that flew into the top corner of the Kop-end net.

The effort took the Goal of the Month award in a fan poll on Liverpoolfc.com, with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick at Fulham finishing in second place.

Jayden Danns’ classy back-heel for the U21s against Manchester United took third, while finishes from Ryan Gravenberch and Kaide Gordon completed the top five.
