The bike’s sturdy construction and capable handling make it equally thrilling on tarmac and gentle off-road trails. With the legendary Guy Martin, who has 17 podiums in TT events, the full potential of the future Guerrilla 450 can be clearly visualized.

The burnout images in the teaser work to justify the name of the bike. Alluding to the bike’s powerful 452cc Sherpa engine, one of the best ever designed by Royal Enfield. The output numbers are 40 PS and 40 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with premium features like slipper clutch and ride-by-wire technology. The Guerilla 450 may actually provide better performance than the Himalayan 450 as it will be light in weight.

Driving ergonomics are quite comfortable, with a low seat height and centrally positioned footrests. On off-road trails, the bike easily accepts walking as seen in the teaser. Shared components with Himalayan 450

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla borrows several components from the Himalayan 450. This will help reduce the cost of production, which in turn will make the bike affordable at an affordable price. Some of the common components include the engine case, large radiator, exhaust, center stand and center mounted horn. Components like the sub-frame, swingarm and footrest are also likely to be the same as the Himalayan 450.

The teasers reveal full LED lighting, circular headlamp and TFT Tripper Dash. The latter is expected to be the same unit in use as the Himalayan 450. It has Bluetooth support and features like music, advanced metrics, smartphone app pairing and Google Maps navigation.

Talking about unique aspects compared to the Himalayan 450, the Guerrilla 450 has 17-inch wheels at both ends. It has conventional telescopic forks at the front compared to the 43mm USD forks seen on the Himalayan 450. Features like side luggage racks, tank straps and rear luggage provisions are not available on the Guerrilla 450. It helps reduce the weight of the bike, ensuring greater power. – weight ratio.

Competition Guerrilla 450, price

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will challenge rivals like the Triumph Speed ​​400, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and Yezdi Roadster. Prices could start from around 2.3 Lah to 2.5 Lah. In European markets, the Guerrilla 450 will primarily challenge the Triumph Speed ​​400 in the A2 roadster segment.
