Channel 4 airs Fred Sirieix update after 21 series of First Dates

Channel 4 has published an update on First Dates maître d’hôtel Fred Sirieix.

The 52-year-old is best known for his role in the hit dating series, as well as appearing on BBC Two’s Million Pound Menu and ITV’s Gordon, Gino & Fred. Fred has been at the helm of 21 series of First Dates, the most recent of which aired on Channel 4 in January.




And in a new post on X, formerly Twitter, Channel 4 confirmed another series is on the way and said Fred is ready to help those looking for love.

The post read: “Single and looking for love? Fred and the First Dates team are here to help you find the perfect match…” A link was included telling fans how they could apply to take part.

Channel 4 bosses added: “Our BAFTA award-winning documentary series First Dates looks for single people looking for love. Now, celebrating its 10th anniversary, the world’s most romantic restaurant opens its doors to welcome people to a very special never-before-seen date.

“Each couple is meticulously matched to their likes and dislikes and if Cupid strikes, this could be the night that changes lives forever…”
