Two teenagers charged in the death of a 28-year-old man in Burnt Oak

Two teenagers have been charged after a fatal stabbing in north-west London, the Met has confirmed.

Officers rushed to the scene following the attack on Muhamoud Mohamed Mahdi, 28, in Burnt Oak on Friday.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination at Northwick Park Hospital found the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds to the chest.

Christian Adom Kuta-Danku, 18, was charged with murder on Sunday. A 16-year-old boy from Harrow has also been charged with murder.

A 19-year-old man was arrested but released on bail.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, who is leading the investigation, said: “Muhamoud lived with his mother in Barnet. She will be supported by specialist Met officers throughout the unimaginably difficult days and months ahead.”
