When will it be sunny again in Leicestershire

July started in rather gray circumstances and a far cry from last week’s really warm weather which saw the county warmer than Ibiza. But Leicestershire will see the sun again soon, according to the latest forecasts.

In the latest data from the Met Office, temperatures in Leicestershire are set to remain steady throughout the week. However, the early part of this week is dominated by a cloudy and overcast feel, but the mercury will still be able to reach a high of 17C.

Sun seekers may even be alarmed by the rain forecast to hit Leicester and the wider county on Wednesday (July 4). The day will start with light rain before becoming heavier as the morning continues.

However, things are looking better as the week goes on. According to the Met Office, General Election Day – Thursday, July 4 – will be greeted with plenty of sunshine. In its forecast, it says the day will start bright and sunny and only change to cloudier weather after the evening.

Temperatures will be back in and around 17C on Thursday and level on Friday (July 5), but the same can’t be said for sunshine as cloudy conditions return. However, the sun will return on Saturday (July 6) with temperatures rising to 18C – a figure which is equaled on Sunday (July 7).
