Laser Clinic Bristol is suddenly closing, leaving confused customers worried about refunds

A hair removal clinic in Cabot Circus has closed suddenly, leaving customers confused and frustrated by the sudden cancellations. Laser Clinics UK has closed due to administration, according to a sign in the window, and several customers claim they have yet to be refunded after paying upfront for treatments.

On Google the Bristol clinic is listed as ‘temporarily closed’ and on the Laser Clinics UK website it is also listed as temporarily closed. The chain has branches nationwide, but despite signs in the branch window stating the business is “in administration”, only the Bristol, Leeds and Leicester clinics are listed as temporarily closed.

Laser Clinics UK has been contacted for comment and has yet to confirm the closures. The Bristol branch was not open today (April 25) and a sign appeared on the doors, warning: “Laser Clinics are unfortunately now in administration.” Advises customers to contact head office.

A customer reported that the clinic, which specializes in laser hair removal, cosmetic injections and skin treatments, closed without notice, leaving customers wondering what to do with pre-booked treatments. He said Bristol Live: “I had a treatment booked in a few weeks as I had £75 in my account and you have to pay in advance.”

The customer claimed that he was unable to contact Laser Clinics on social media and could not find any other information on their website. He said he was concerned “this is going to leave a lot of customers out of pocket”.

In recent days, several other customers have taken to Google Reviews to voice their concerns and frustrations. One customer wrote: “Laser Clinics Bristol canceled my appointment without telling me why and whenever I try to call them I can’t seem to get through. What happens?

“It’s very unprofessional and so frustrating. I have been a loyal customer of this clinic since November 2021 and am quite surprised by this sudden interruption of all communication.”

Another asked: “Does anyone know what’s going on? It would be great to have an update, especially when we have paid the full amount for a treatment that we may not receive.”

A third reviewer said: “Anyone have any info on what’s going on? My appointment was canceled without any phone calls and now the line is disconnected and the clinic is temporarily closed.

“I emailed the company but they said to expect an update soon. Since I paid in advance for my treatment, I’d better know what’s going on.”
