Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 images leaked ahead of launch: Here’s what we know – Bike News

Royal Enfield will offer at least two variants in the Guerilla 450, offering monotone and dual color schemes.

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch its next major product called the Guerilla 450 in the next two weeks. The upcoming 450cc roadster was recently teased via several social media posts that confirmed its July 17, 2024 debut in Spain. Before its release, images of the Guerilla 450 went viral on the internet.

The latest image appears to have been accessed on a TV commercial for the Guerilla 450 in Spain. The spy shot shows two units of the Guerrilla 450 that reveal some crucial details about its variants, features and color options.

For starters, the two units pictured have very distinct color schemes – a dual shade of red and gold and a matte gray option. The first is most likely the top variant, and the second, with a single-tone paint scheme, is either a base variant or a base variant of the Guerilla 450. This is also emphasized by the equipment offered.

However, it has not yet been confirmed whether this will be an optional add-on or whether the Tripper Pod will be available as standard equipment on this variant.

Except for a USB charger, most other features will not be available in the lower variants. Other features like the rotary switchgear dials, round LED headlights and LED clips will remain common across the lineup.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Hardware Specs and Powertrain

From earlier teaser and spy images, it looks like the Guerilla 450 rides on both front and rear 17-inch alloy wheels, adding a touch of compactness, which are shod with block-pattern tires. The teaser images show the Guerilla getting telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking duties will be handled by a front and rear disc brake.

Like the Himalayan 450, the Guerilla 450 will be powered by the same 452cc Sherpa series single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. In adventure engines, this engine churns out 39 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. However, for the upcoming roadster, it may get a different tuning with slightly different outputs. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Expected Price and Rivals

We expect Royal Enfield to price the Guerilla 450 starting at around Rs 2.30 lakh and go up to Rs 2.50 lakh for the top variant. When launched, the Guerilla 450 will take on the likes of the Triumph Speed ​​400, Harley Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z.
