Body found in woods in Yate

A man’s body was found in the woods. It is believed to be the body of a missing man from Yate. Robin, 47, was reported missing last Tuesday, June 25, and had no belongings or necessary medication with him.

In an update this afternoon, Tuesday July 2, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the body was found in a wooded area off Goose Green Way. Robin’s next of kin have been informed and officers are preparing a file for the coroner.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “Unfortunately, officers searching for missing Robin from Yate found a body in a wooded area off Goose Green Way.
