Chelsea have signed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester for around £30m. The 25-year-old has penned a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge and is reunited with Enzo Maresca after working with the Italian at the King Power Stadium last season.

The midfielder’s departure is a blow for Leicester ahead of their return to the Premier League, but the transfer will significantly help them in their attempts to stay within the division’s Profitability and Sustainability (PSR) rules. The fee is recorded as pure profit as Dewsbury-Hall rose through the ranks at Leicester. He made 120 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals, 12 of which came last season as the club immediately earned promotion back to the top flight.
