Coventry pub with ‘best Sunday dinner in the area’ that goes the ‘extra mile’

A Coventry pub has been hailed for having the ‘best Sunday dinner in the area’ and going the ‘extra mile’ for customers. Millpool in Hipswell Highway has received rave reviews on Tripadvisor.

According to the website, it received four and a half stars out of five in all areas – from food to service, value and atmosphere. Reviews left on the site, including one who said it had “the best Sunday dinner in the area”.

The reviewer said: “Excellent service and the best Sunday dinner in the area. Thanks to Jamie for finding us a table on a busy bank holiday Sunday. Special mention to Abbie for her excellent bar service.”

Another hailed it as an “amazing” place for a baby shower. “What a day it was. The room, service and food were amazing. Thank you so much. Everyone commented on how amazing the food was.”

In another review, a visitor said: “Fresh home cooked food. Can’t beat the staff. I visit frequently with friends and have never had a bad meal. Booked last night with family, 16 of us, food was excellent. Brilliant service. recommend, as always.”

It’s not just the locals who have been singing its praises, another reviewer said: “We live in Rugby and it was our first visit as we drove through absolutely amazing, so friendly and the food was brilliant and the service couldn’t be wanted for nothing”.

The pub is ranked ninth best in Coventry according to Tripadvisor reviews.
