Police stunned by ‘charged’ electricity supply powering £97,000 Exhall cannabis plant

The police were shocked by a source of electricity that powered a cannabis factory. They made the discovery after searching a property in Windmill Road in Exhall.

They knocked yesterday morning and discovered that the interior of the building had been converted to grow cannabis plants. The Nuenaton and Bedworth Safer Neighborhood team joked on their Facebook page that they had planned a visit to “local farmers” but were disappointed to find no vegetables.

“We visited some local farmers, although we were disappointed to find that they weren’t growing anything as useful as wheat or tomatoes,” the team said.

“Instead we found 114 cannabis plants, worth an estimated £97,000 when cut and a power supply. The plants were picked up from the address. Two men were also arrested.
