Roy Keane and Gary Neville get a new role as Manchester United legends reunite on ITV

Roy Keane and Gary Neville have landed a new TV role ahead of England’s Euro 2024 round of 16 clash with Slovakia on Sunday afternoon. The pair appeared alongside each other on ITV this summer as Euro 2024 takes place in Germany.

Ian Wright and Jill Scott also joined Keane and Neville in the TV studio, providing opinion and insight on the European Championships. During the Premier League season, the quartet appear regularly on Sky Bet’s Stick To Football podcast.

Whether they’re telling some harsh truths or telling a joke, Keane, Neville Wright and Scott have established a brilliant chemistry – whether it’s on TV or behind the microphone. However, the four experts have now made a major announcement.

Taking to Instagram, @itvfootball revealed that the Stick To Football podcast featuring Keane, Neville Wright and Scott will be on TV on Friday night. An official statement said: “Stick To Football is coming to ITV!

“Join me, Roy, Jill and Wrighty for a special edition of Euro tomorrow night at 10.45pm on ITV1. We’re also going to bring it to YouTube, so have a watch if you want.”

In the latest episode of the Stick to Football podcast, which was uploaded to YouTube earlier this week, Keane recalled that his time at Manchester United ended after an explosive 10-minute meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson and the CEO since David Gill.

The Red Devils legend said: “People have an opinion about how I left Manchester United, but there were things that happened the summer before. A lot of things I look back on – and maybe I’ll never understand, maybe I’ll never get to the bottom of it, and I’m okay with that.

“Maybe as I get older I’ll look back and say, ‘Well, maybe it makes sense’, but I still don’t get it when I hear a manager say, ‘I’ve got to do what’s right for the club.’ ‘, I would argue a bit, ‘What about the players who have been good to you?

“I’m not saying take care of them, I’m saying how can we not sit down? I almost have to remind people, I haven’t been able to go to anyone, I’ve been out since October, November – coming back from a broken leg that I broke at Anfield, he couldn’t go to another team – how a club can’t settle with someone and I’ve seen a lot of people leave in bad relationships, and that’s fine, that’s life.”
