Acton ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ market center is back – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

West London’s regular monthly event Acton Market Reduce and Recycle Hub returns this Saturday (6 July 2024) to encourage and support people to ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’.

Organizers, Market W3, are organizing the event on Saturday October 2022.

Visitors can discover how to mend clothes and repair laptops to check out bikes and exchange books.

It takes place in The Mount, next to Morrison’s supermarket, and provides an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to make better use of what they have, as well as help others and the environment.

Since launching in October 2022, organizers said it’s been going from strength to strength as people from Acton and all parts of Ealing come to see for themselves how they can be more aware of what they use and need.

Zahra Shah, Social Media Officer for Market W3 told EALING.NEWS: “Acton Market Reduce and Recycle Center continues to go from strength to strength. Every month we bring new recycling and discount activities to the people of Acton. Our nomination for the BBC Radio London make a difference award highlights the impact we have had on local life.
