Ten Tors teams reach the final

There were smiles and sore feet – and a few pink hats – on the moor above Okehampton earlier today (Sunday) as the youngsters competing in the Ten Tors reached the finish line.

They traveled various routes of 35, 45 and 55 miles, camping last Saturday night on the moor. The weather was warm for the last teams that came in early in the afternoon.

There were teams from Okehampton College, Shebbear College and Mount Kelly in Tavistock as well as others from further afield.

Here are some photos of the teams, met by their families and friends at the finish. See Thursday’s paper for more.
