Man City’s final Premier League games vs Arsenal after win against Wolves

Manchester City and Arsenal remain within striking distance of the Premier League title race after both wins at the weekend.

The title remains in City’s hands as Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand against the Gunners. Arsenal currently hold a one-point lead but have just two games to play compared to City’s three.

City hammered Wolves on Saturday night with a first-half Erling Haaland hat-trick setting them on their way to a comfortable victory. The Norwegian then struck a stunning effort soon after Hwang Hee-chan had reduced the deficit for the visitors early in the second half amid fears that Wolves’ goal could spark a comeback.

Julian Alvarez then got on the score sheet late in the game with an effort from the left to put the game beyond doubt and wrap up the three points. Arsenal played first and briefly extended the gap at the top to four points with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth.

Bukayo Saka scored a first-half penalty before goals from Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice secured the points. It means this title race could go right down to the wire. Here’s how the next few weeks are shaping up for both clubs.
